The Department nominated Business Shaper to revise and consultatively develop a new strategy identifying short, medium and long term goals and objectives.

Shaper worked collaboratively with the DEECD to develop Looking Ahead: DEECD’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy.

The project resulted in a clearly presented strategy document that establishes the importance of environmental sustainability to the Department and the ongoing delivery of its core functions while enabling the Department to take significant action in improve its sustainability performance moving forward.

The final Strategy document was well received by external stakeholders who felt both the content and graphic presentation were leading edge for a government department.

"Having extensive experience working with consultants, I have very high expectations and it is very rare that my expectations are exceeded. In this case, it was my pleasure to work with the Business Shaper team who facilitated a fantastic process, resulting in the development of a Strategy which provides a clear pathway forward and can be readily communicated to our stakeholders."
