Case Study - Members Equity Bank
Members Equity Bank (MEB) engaged Business Shaper, in developing a comprehensive, one hour sustainability presentation for their Corporate Sustainability Manager to deliver to their executive management team. The objective of the presentation was to gain executive level buy-in to MEB’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy and increase company prioritisation of sustainability and CSR issues and initiatives.
Whilst working collaboratively with MEB to develop the presentation, the Business Shaper team provided the necessary guidance and coaching to ensure delivery of the presentation was backed up by credible knowledge and understanding of both what sustainability means for MEB and also the business case for sustainability.
MEB then collaborated with Executive Shaper to appoint a CSR Manager to assist in the implementation of the strategy across the business. Executive Shaper conducted a combined executive search and advertised recruitment process to identify a sustainability and CSR professional for this role.
An “up and coming” candidate was identified in a leading corporate organisation and was successfully appointed the position at ME, commencing their role in early 2009.
