Case Study - Recovre
Recognising that they needed to identify and address their environmental impacts Recovre, a provider of specialist health and wellbeing support services, engaged Business Shaper to conduct a baseline environmental review of its operations, using their Melbourne and Bendigo offices as a case-study.
The baseline review focussed on identifying the key environmental aspects and associated impacts of Recovre’s business and included the development of an environmental aspects register and a carbon inventory.
Business Shaper presented the results of the review to the Recovre management team along with a series of recommendations for implementing environmental improvement initiatives and management practices.
A key outcome of the project Business Shaper assisted Recovre in understanding that many of the opportunities to reduce their impact on their environment did not require large capital investment but were largely related to behaviour change and embedding environmental principles into their corporate culture and business processes.
