Steven Szyndler

Steve is an Associate with Business Shaper coming from a background in engineering, project and risk management.

In his previous role in the Defence Sector he managed cross-organisational project teams in the delivery and enhancement of complex technical systems and support of business process improvements. His work at Business Shaper is in assisting organisations with the translation of sustainability strategy into operational outcomes.

Steve’s interest in sustainable business practices and technologies began with postgraduate and non-profit research assignments around whole-systems thinking and a desire to see businesses prosper with insight and responsibility. Over the past year he has developed an enthusiasm for exploring climate change and life cycle impacts and opportunities and he brings with him a broad range of experience working collaboratively with government, corporate, educational and non-profit organisations.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons 1) and Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science from Adelaide University. In 2008, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business and is currently finishing his Diploma of Project Management.
